In partnership with the African American Strategic Partnership (AASP), we are proud to host an annual Youth Summit for AASP member organizations and young leaders-in-training. In the summer of 2016, we hosted a day long event filled with workshops about principles of fitness, wellness and health, reducing violence, improving parent/child relationships, and best practices in education. Headlining the event was a keynote from former Mel Blount Youth Home resident, Pastor Brandon Humphries. Details on the 2017 Youth Summit are coming soon.
MBYLI is now accepting volunteers for our 2017 Youth Summit program.
